About Me

Ever since I was a little kid, all I ever wanted to do was to play house and write stories, so now that I’m all grown up, that’s what I do. My husband and I, along with our three children and one funny dog, live in beautiful Idaho where we spend lots of time camping in the mountains, eating burnt marshmallows, and getting bit by mosquitoes.

I enjoy writing for children. Hundreds of my stories have been published in several children’s magazines, including the wonderful Highlights for Children, but I mainly write for Christian publications. The way I see it, what could be better than being able to tell bunches of kids how much God loves them?

A few years ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. As a survivor, I have started writing non-fiction for grown-ups in hopes of encouraging others who are experiencing the challenges of cancer. My new book Mammograms, Mastectomies, and a Spiritual Makeover  (Jebaire Publishing) is now available from most on-line retailers and book stores.

Please feel free to leave a comment. I’d love to hear from you!
